Conversations in Practical Theology

These unscripted conversations are an attempt at doing practical theology in public.

The dialogues are not so much a research project as an effort to model what mutual learning might look like amongst practical theologians from different faith traditions.

   Theologising Brexit

Arising out of an encounter at the BIAPT (British & Irish Association for Practical Theology) in the summer of 2017, Saiyyidah Zaidi (a Muslim) and I (a Christian) have recorded our conversations on topics such as gender, race, and national identity. More recently we have branched to include Harrie Cedar (a Jew) as a conversation partner. We hope to add other regulars in due course and some occasional guests.

The play list is on YouTube with most of the conversations also available as podcasts (audio-only) on Apple Podcasts.  You can subscribe on either platform to be notified when we upload another conversation.

Should you like to suggest someone as a conversation partner (including yourself) then simply email me at [email protected].
